I just finished reading The Host. I was so freaking awsome! It's by the same auther of the amazing Twilight series and I'm not sure which story I like more. I mean Twilight is amazing and I love the plot and the characters but The Host was just so well thought out I dunno what to do with myself! Okay The Host is a Syfi novel where aliens called Souls have taken over Earth and taken human bodies for there own erasing the personality of there host. The main character is Wanderer (she's an alian) and she is put inside a human who dosn't want to give up her mind (Mel) so pretty much now we have two people living inside one body. Mel shows Wanderer all hr previous life including her lover Jared. Now soon Wanderer also falls in love with the man in Mel's memories and the go off together in such of him. In other words we have a love triangle with two bodies. How does that even work? Only Meyer can figure that one out.
Yeah but now all I have to do is wait for Breaking Dawn to come out and fall in love with Edward Cullen all over again then I'll cry when I finish reading it cuz then the Twilight books will be over then I'll probably have towait and see if there will be a sequel to The Host which I'm crossing my fingers for!
I'm not really sure it deserves the 'Adult' book theme. To me it still was Twilight-like writing with no real graphic smut which I was kind of hoping for. But I think it's a really good book for die hard romanics. So yea it's just a teen giant novel. So people don't be scared of the 300 pages because it's an easy and good read. You'll be done with it in a snap and start cursing that you wish it where longer.
